Mayhem at Kangaroo Ground

The last six weeks have been challenging to say the least. Living in two rooms the size of U.S. jail cells is one thing. Having to share a kitchen/living room with 12 other people is another. Due to the hub of activity

Life on Campus – Semester One

Rabbit Season

This place is just infested with rabbits. Kangaroos and rabbits. They might as well call it ‘Rabbit Ground’. They are just running around everywhere. You can’t study all day every day, and we like to be as well-rounded as we

Sociolinguistics Class

For 3 hours on a Thursday morning we learn about how social, political, economic, geographical and religious factors affect language use. Our fearless ‘socio’ teacher Joan Finlay, (who has conveniently spent a bit of time in Vanuatu and tells us all about it)..
