Burma Temple Myanmar

Buddhist pagodas rise above the morning mist in the ancient ruined city of Bagan, Myanmar. Previously known as Burma, Myanmar is now starting to share its rich history with the world after decades of limiting travelers. One of Asia’s poorest countries, Myanmar showcases some of the oldest Buddhist temples and relics in the world dating back to the 6th century. Despite 89% of the population being Buddhist, 65 out of Myanmar’s 115 living languages have some portion of Scripture. In fact, more than 30 communities have a complete Bible. There are a number of Bible translation projects in progress.
