Unique Beauty – Weekly Inspiring Image

Toothy and trusting, this beautiful young girl from Madagascar looks curiously into the photographer’s long lens. The fourth largest island in the world, Madagascar is often recognised by its unique wildlife with at least 5% of the earth’s plant and animal species found here and only here. But it is also one of the poorest nations in the world, still finding its feet amid political unrest and a history including communism and French colonialist rule. In spite of these challenges, Madagascar has sent people to work in Bible translation elsewhere in Africa. Click here to read Serge and Olivia’s story on wycliffe.net. Please pray for the peoples of Madagascar.
