Happy Chinese New Year – Weekly Inspiring Image

chinese new year

The night sky is filled with fireworks celebrating Chinese New Year. For a number of years now Chinese (Mandarin) speakers have been able to access the Bible in several different versions, just like English readers. However at least 100 million people, a small percentage of China’s huge population, are not Chinese speakers but belong to one of China’s officially recognised 55 ethnic minority groups. Most of these language communities have no Scripture translation available. China is one of the top twenty countries where the greatest need for Bible translation remains. Please pray for the work of the Bible in China.
