Fragrant Harbour – Weekly Inspiring Image

Hong Kong at night

Hundreds of buildings cast an array of colour on Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. In English Hong Kong means Fragrant Harbor. Viewed from this vantage point it is clear that Hong Kong’s 7 million people live in Earth’s most densely populated city.

In the midst of this powerhouse city, Wycliffe Hong Kong, founded in 1987, operates with over 50 staff members who serve in the home office or in various locations around the world. The staff serve in Bible translation, literacy, administration, media, finances, mobilization and more. Over 100 churches in Hong Kong also embrace the vision of Bible translation and participate through funding, prayer, and visiting field projects.
